Tom Sullivan, Jr. was elected Vice President - Corporate Development in October 2007. Mr. Sullivan joined RPM’s corporate office in 2003 as a Director - Corporate Development. Mr. Sullivan has served the company in various technical service, sales, and executive management positions for five different RPM subsidiaries from 1987 to 2003, including Republic Powered Metals, Consolidated Coatings, ESPAN Pte. Ltd/RPM Asia Pte. Ltd., and Tremco Incorporated. Mr. Sullivan was responsible for opening RPM’s first office in the Asia Pacific marketplace, and the integration of the Tremco international business unit. Prior to joining RPM, he was a wholesale marketing representative for Armstrong World Industries. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
Mr. Sullivan serves as a trustee for the Conserve School, Land O’Lakes, Wisconsin, and board member for Sullivan Scholars, the Thomas C. Sullivan – Sandy Sullivan Charitable Foundation, and the Restoration Committee for St. Patrick’s Church, Cleveland, Ohio.
He is the grandson of RPM's Founder Frank C. Sullivan, son of RPM's Chairman Emeritus Thomas C. Sullivan, and brother of RPM’s current Chairman and CEO, Frank C. Sullivan. He lives in Bay Village, Ohio with his wife Mary. They have three daughters and two sons.
